After Effects + Photoshop = Awesomosity!

Here’s what I see while working on my ‘copy machine of doom’ animation… complicated, huh?
And here’s an illo I’m about to animate, for the sequence immediately preceding the Copy Machine bit…
Here’s my screen as I type this. Just cuz I KNOW you are curious…

Sneak Preview

I just saw the completed preview video that we’ve been working on for the past week – it looks great!!! Here’s a sneak preview of a quick animation that I did for one of the sequences:

Animated Title Headaches…

This is why the animated title won’t work. We need an actual animation, rather than a gradual mask revealing the font. It just looks sloppy… I suggest we fade in the entire words, one at a time slowly.

Good Company is Almost Done!

Okay update time. I’m like 95% done with this movie. Jim (my director) is just having me add more fun stuff, like more people dancing thru, a few subtle animations here and here, and, um… Me. Yes, I’m going to be in here even more. Except you wont see my [...]

Good Company – Yellow Brick Road

This background is for the “yellow brick road” scene where the cast is moving on “towards a lifetime”… their career goals of *ahem* worldly status – big house, nice car, being waited on hand and foot (that butler is the guy from ABC’s “Joe Millionaire” – not sure if i can use the picture or [...]

New Project: Good Company

This week should be an exciting, if not scary one for me here at Media Partners. I’ve done lots of graphics, and I totally feel at home in Photoshop. I should, I’ve been using it almost every day for 10 years now! But one thing I’ve never tackled before is video editing/production.
My next [...]
