I need InDesign help ASAP!

Posted September 15th, 2008 in Design and tagged , , , , , by rob

Does anyone know why the last lines of these two paragraphs appear to have more leading than the rest of the paragraphs? I don’t see any misplaced hard returns or paragraph breaks, and I can’t see any difference in leading settings in either paragraph on any line…

Can anyone shed some light on this quick? I need to get it off to the printer today! Thanks in advance!

  1. Debra says:

The paragraph return at the end of the second paragraph is a larger size than the rest of the type.

Make sure everything is the same size (use a paragraph style!).

Make sure you set a specific leading (not automatic).

Make sure in your preferences you have “apply leading to entire paragraph” checked ON.
